White Kidney Bean Extract

White Kidney Bean Extract

White Kidney Bean Extract is an α-amylase inhibitory protein, a glycoprotein that inhibits the activity of amylase, which is extracted from white kidney beans through patented technology and multiple processing steps. The alpha amylase inhibitory protein from white kidney beans binds to alpha amylase in the human body, forming a polymer, and after the alpha amylase is bound, the spatial structure of the alpha amylase is irreversibly changed, and the alpha amylase is inactivated. In this way, the amylase inhibitory protein in white kidney beans can inhibit α-amylase.

Product Advantages

Yunnan Province is the main producing area of high quality white kidney beans with the largest planting area in China. The local white kidney beans are planted in high altitude and high ultraviolet areas above 1800 meters, with sufficient light and lower average temperatures. As a result, the grains of white kidney beans are fuller and contain higher levels of protein and other ingredients. The white kidney beans used in the production of Control Card® White Kidney Bean Extract come from the high altitude mountainous areas of Dali and Lijiang in Yunnan Province.
