The Eighth National Congress and the Ninth Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Society of Cereals and Oils (CSCO) was held in Beijing from October 15 to 17, 2018. With the theme of "Science and Technology Leads the Economic Development of the Grain Industry", experts and scholars from scientific research institutes of the country's cereals and oils industry, as well as related enterprises, gathered to share the latest research results and innovation trends, and to promote the healthy development of China's cereals and oils industry.
The Eighth National Congress and the Ninth Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Society of Cereals and Oils (CSCO) was held in Beijing from October 15 to 17, 2018. With the theme of "Science and Technology Leads the Economic Development of the Grain Industry", experts and scholars from scientific research institutes of the country's cereals and oils industry, as well as related enterprises, gathered to share the latest research results and innovation trends, and to promote the healthy development of China's cereals and oils industry.
Focusing on the implementation of the national food security strategy and the strategy of healthy China, the conference carried out different kinds of presentations with the three-wheeled drive of think tank, academia and popularization of science, and the goal of internationalization, informatization and synergization. At the same time, a number of awards were presented to recognize the contribution of enterprises and individuals to the scientific and technological innovation and industrial development of China's grain and oil. After the review and evaluation by the experts organized by the Society, finally, Yunnan Tianbao Huahua Bio-resource Development Co., Ltd. was awarded the Outstanding Unit Member of the Fourth China Cereals and Oils Society.
China Society of Cereals and Oils (CSCoO) is a member of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), a national first-class society affiliated to the State Grain Bureau, and a cross-industry, cross-region, and cross-sectoral mass academic organization mainly composed of high and middle-level scientists and entrepreneurs engaged in scientific research and industrial production of grains and fats. Yunnan Tianbao Huahua has been actively participating in the activities organized by China Grain and Oil Society, and vigorously promoting technological innovation and industrial development in the field of its own functional food ingredients - white kidney bean extract (α-amylase inhibiting protein), contributing to the Society and creating value for the society.
